UNM-GALLUP WELCOMES NEW SENIOR STUDENT SPECIALIST FOR THE NURSING PROGRAM

March 22, 2021 - ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ welcomes Kendall Rae Ramirez, who recently joined the university as the new Senior Student Specialist for the Nursing program.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Humboldt State University and a New Mexico Special Education Teaching License from WNMU-Gallup with secondary endorsements in Math, Science, and TESOL.
Kendall taught with Gallup-McKinley County Schools and the Adolescent Care Unit at Tse’hootsooi’ Medical Center in Fort Defiance, Arizona. She will begin a Master’s program in Fall 2021 with UNM’s Native American Studies department.
Kendall has raised her family in the local community and is dedicated to ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ’s vision of becoming “a nationally recognized leader in community focused, regionally specific and culturally vibrant education.â€
